about our founder
After eleven transformative years as the Director of Marketing and Events for a multi-billion dollar real estate company, our founder, Whitney Watkins, took a bold leap to start her own venture.
Whitney devoted herself to overseeing marketing, advertising, and events for indoor malls, lifestyle centers, multi-family residences, and hotels. Her true passion lay in event planning, where the magic of bringing a vision to life filled her with joy, particularly in the fine details and execution.
This passion and love inspired Whitney to create the Elizabeth Lane Company, a marketing consulting and event planning agency. Named in honor of her late grandmother and father, the Green family—Whitney's maiden name—has a legacy of education, entrepreneurship, and business ownership. Originating from South Carolina, they exemplified hospitality and the joy of gathering, making entertaining a cherished part of their lives.
Whitney now resides in Newport News, Virginia, with her husband Robert, with whom she has shared over ten years of marriage. Their remarkable journey began eighteen years ago at Old Dominion University, and today, they passionately nurture the dreams of their three children: Hayden, Harper, and Brooks.
